A2e. Investigating the Warrens

This scene takes place in the Rat Warrens

As this scene begins:

• Flax and Gundren are with the party.

• The Rat Pack is guarding the Warrens

If the players enter the warrens without first disturbing the rats, 

• Big Rat is guarding the tunnel beneath the pile of debris

• Notched Ear is guarding the tunnel behind the barrels

• Redeye is guarding the tunnel beneath the table

• Short Tail and Chitter are asleep in the rats’ nest

• Longtooth is out foraging in the nearby woods

If the players draw the rats’ attention, the rats attack on sight, stopping only if entreated using Speak with Animals or similar magic. (See Hiding & Sneaking for more information on how to run an infiltration of the warrens.)
